The site in Bristol falls within the Old Market Street Conservation Area. This designated heritage asset site is comprised of No.71 Market Street which is statutory listed at grade II and Shepherd’s Hall adjoins via a Link Building.
Originally a domestic dwelling, the site has since been used for a variety of commercial purposes before its conversion to a house in multiple occupation.
The new proposal is a new apart-hotel development of studios, to 2-bed units alongside associated amenity facilities and break-out spaces. A new southern extension includes a new entry and pods within the Shephard’s Hall space creates additional units.
